What is StartAllBack?

StartAllBack hooks Explorer to restyle Start and the taskbar. StartAllBackCfg.exe is the settings UI. Open-Shell's StartMenu.exe is a different classic menu.

If you have never used it

If you want a Windows 10-like Start and taskbar on Windows 11, StartAllBack is StartIsBack's paid restyle. Download it from startallback.com. StartAllBackCfg.exe is the options window. It is not Open-Shell, which is the free Classic Shell fork, and it is not StartIsBack++ for Windows 10 only.

Configure labels, alignment, and context menus

StartAllBack (2021) is a current start and taskbar restyle from StartIsBack. The vendor still points Windows users at https://www.startallback.com/.

How old is it?

StartIsBack began on Windows 8. StartAllBack is the 2021 Windows 11 product. Open-Shell is the 2017 Classic Shell fork. A Windows 10 StartIsBack license is not automatically this SKU.

A "StartAllBack crack" is not StartIsBack. Open-Shell is the free GitHub menu if you did not want to pay.

Wrong dialog means you installed the other product.

If Explorer loops after a Windows update, uninstall StartAllBack from Apps, then install the current build

That is a shell-mod recovery. It is not an Open-Shell setting.

Alternatives

Open-Shell for a free classic menu. In-box Start if you can live with Windows 11 defaults. Explorer Patcher is another community option.
