What is Guilded?
Guilded is Roblox Corporation's community chat client. The Windows executable is Guilded.exe.
If you have never used it
If a Roblox or gaming group said join our Guilded, this is Guilded, not Discord. Download it from guilded.gg/downloads. The process is Guilded.exe. Roblox acquired Guilded. Discord.exe is a different vendor.

Some communities moved here after the acquisition. It is still not the Roblox player exe.

Current status
Guilded (2017) is a current community chat from Roblox Corporation. The vendor still points Windows users at https://www.guilded.gg/downloads.
How old is it?
Guilded launched in 2017 as community chat and Roblox acquired it in 2021. It is newer than Discord (2015) and not a 2001 TeamSpeak story. The Windows desktop app is still Guilded.exe.

A discord.gg URL will not open in Guilded. You need a Guilded invite.
Getting unstuck

A Guilded plus nitro-style pack is junk.
Use support.guilded.gg for login and voice
Discord Support will not name Guilded servers.
Quit Guilded.exe from the tray
Closing the window can leave the desktop client resident.
Alternatives
Discord if the community already lives there. Revolt if they want an open-source Discord-like. Roblox chat in-game is not this desktop app.
