GameLoop
Also called game loop, tencent gameloop, pubg mobile pc
Tencent’s Android emulator used for PUBG Mobile on PC. The process is AndroidEmulator.exe. It is not BlueStacks.
What you need to know
GameLoop is Tencent’s PUBG Mobile PC emulator. BlueStacks is a generic VM.
AndroidEmulator.exe is GameLoop. HD-Player.exe is BlueStacks. Tencent’s FAQ is the vendor path for PUBG Mobile on Windows.
- What is it?
- Tencent emulator for PUBG Mobile on PC
- Same as BlueStacks?
- No. Different vendor and exe
- Process?
- AndroidEmulator.exe
What is GameLoop?
GameLoop is Tencent’s Android emulator and storefront. AndroidEmulator.exe runs the VM. PUBG Mobile on PC is the title people mean.
If you have never used it
If you play PUBG Mobile on a Windows PC the Tencent way, this is GameLoop. Download it from gameloop.com. The engine process is AndroidEmulator.exe. It is not BlueStacks. BlueStacks is a general Android emulator (HD-Player.exe). GameLoop is Tencent’s branded path for PUBG Mobile and other Tencent Android titles. LDPlayer and Nox are third-party VMs, not this storefront.
What is it used for?
Tencent’s documented PC path. BlueStacks can run Android games too, but this page is the GameLoop plus AndroidEmulator.exe stack.
Other mobile titles Tencent lists in GameLoop. That storefront is not LDPlayer’s ad UI.
Tencent’s emulator is the one PUBG Mobile’s PC notes point at. A random Nox instance can be the unsupported path.
Who is it for?
- PUBG Mobile players who want the Tencent PC client
- People whose Task Manager shows AndroidEmulator.exe
- Anyone who installed BlueStacks and wondered why PUBG Mobile complained
Current status
GameLoop (2019) is a current android emulator from Tencent. The vendor still points Windows users at https://www.gameloop.com/.
How old is it?
Tencent pushed GameLoop around 2019 as the official-feeling PC home for PUBG Mobile. BlueStacks already existed for years as a generic emulator. A 2015 “just use BlueStacks for PUBG Mobile” guide is a different vendor and can fight Tencent’s anti-cheat expectations.

Common problems
Wrong emulator for PUBG Mobile
Tencent’s FAQ talks about GameLoop. A BlueStacks instance can fail anti-cheat or login.
AndroidEmulator.exe at idle
The VM can stay up after you close a game. Quit from GameLoop, not by ending a random Android process.
Getting unstuck
Install from gameloop.com
Tencent hosts the emulator. A “PUBG Mobile PC crack” is bait.
Confirm AndroidEmulator.exe, not HD-Player.exe
Wrong emulator, wrong support article.
Use GameLoop’s FAQ for PUBG Mobile login and crash
Virtualization notes are vendor-specific. Do not paste Nox steps here first.
Alternatives
Play on a phone. BlueStacks only if the title is a generic Android game and Tencent is not the gate. Steam if you meant PUBG: Battlegrounds, which is a different game.
