FanControl
Also called rem0o fancontrol, fan control
Open fan-curve app. You pick the sensor plugins. The process is FanControl.exe. It is not iCUE.
What you need to know
FanControl is open curves plus plugins. It is not iCUE.
FanControl.exe uses sensor plugins you choose. iCUE is Corsair. Foxhole samples are not extra sensors Feex invented for this app.

What is FanControl?
FanControl.exe maps sensors you enable (via plugins) to fan headers. iCUE only sees Corsair hubs. This article does not claim Feex provides those sensors.
If you have never used it
If you want fan curves on headers iCUE or the BIOS do not own, FanControl is Rem0o's open app. Download it from getfancontrol.com. You add sensor plugins yourself. It is not Corsair iCUE, and Feex does not invent extra hardware sensors here.
What is it used for?
Pick a sensor plugin, then a curve. iCUE curves stay on Corsair hardware.
What the plugins expose. Not a Corsair Commander-only list.
So curves apply at sign-in. BIOS curves still win if you leave control there.
Who is it for?
- People whose BIOS fan control is crude
- PCs that also run iCUE for lighting only
- Users who were told to "just use SpeedFan"
Current status
FanControl (2020) is a current fan curve utility from Rem0o. The vendor still points Windows users at https://getfancontrol.com/.
How old is it?
FanControl launched around 2020 as a LibreHardwareMonitor-based curve tool. SpeedFan is the older, largely abandoned cousin. iCUE is Corsair's vendor host.

Common problems
Two hosts on one header
iCUE and FanControl will fight. Pick one controller for that fan.
No sensors until a plugin is added
That is by design. Feex does not supply a hidden sensor pack for this app.
Getting unstuck
Install from getfancontrol.com or the GitHub Releases feed
Rem0o's builds. Skip random "FanControl Pro" zips.
Enable the sensor plugin the wiki names for your board
LibreHardwareMonitor-style plugins are user-selected. This Wiki does not invent Feex sensors.
Quit iCUE fan control when testing a header
One owner per header. Lighting can stay in iCUE if you split duties carefully.
Alternatives
BIOS fan control. iCUE on Corsair hubs. Argus Monitor and FanControl's older cousin SpeedFan.

Related hardware
Needs fan headers or a hub the plugins can see. GPU fans usually stay in Afterburner or the vendor app. No Feex-invented probes.
