Common problems
License login loop
Autodesk single sign-on is required. This is not a Blender splash screen.
Plugin compiled for another year
Maya year versions break binary plugins. Install the matching build.
Getting unstuck
Confirm maya.exe
Program Files\Autodesk\Maya is the app. blender.exe is the other product.
Use Autodesk Access or the account portal
A random maya.exe host is junk.
Reset prefs in the Maya folder
A bad userPref.mel can block launch. That is Maya, not Blender.
Alternatives
Blender, 3ds Max, and Cinema 4D overlap. Blender does not replace a Maya studio seat.
